ACADEMY AWARDS 2011 NOMINATIONS LIST

Akhirnya ajang penghargaan puncak yang sudah ditunggu-tunggu ini memunculkan daftar nominasi lengkapnya. Academy Awards atau yang juga dikenal sebagai Oscar ini akan digelar pada 27 Februari 2011 dimana James Franco dan Anne Hathaway akan menjadi host. Uniknya James Franco juga mendapat nominasi "Best Actor" untuk aktingnya di "127 Hours". Film yang plaing banyak meraih nominasi adalah "The King's Speech" dengan 12 nominasi, disusul "True Grit" dengan 10 nominasi, lalu "Inception" dan "The Social Network" yang sama-sama mendapat 8 nominasi. Beberapa kejutan terjadi di daftar nominator. Yang paling mengejutkan tentunya tidak adanya nama Christopher Nolan di kategori "Best Director". Padahal buat saya pribadi Nolan jauh lebih pantas dibanding David O. Russell yang menurut saya terlalu overrated mendapat apresiasi lewat "The Fighter". Film itu juga mendapat nominasi "Best Picture". Padahal film-film macam "Buried", "The Town" dan "The Ghost Writer" buat saya pribadi jauh lebih pantas. Masuknya Javier Bardem di "Best Actor" berkat aktingnya di "Biutiful" juga cukup jadi kejutan tapi saya belum menonton filmnya. Dan ini dia daftar nominasi lengkapnya:
